Analysis of cybernetic refurbishment concepts for buildings of the 1950s - the example: 'Am Germansberg' owned by the 'Gemeinnützigen Baugenossenschaft Speyer e.G.' (cooperative building association)
Project Description
Objective of this research project was the side-by-side comparison of two entirely different refurbishment strategies - on the one hand an energy-oriented refurbishment according to the state of the art (loss reduction) and on the other hand an energy-oriented refurbishment according to cybernatically principle (profit maximisation). Research subject are two linear buildings with similar requirements of both the in- and outside. Construction, architecture and urban design of the research subject are specific for the building typology of the 1950s. Hence the research findings can be transferred.
