Abolfazl Ganji presented his research about the simulation and control of dynamic shadings at PowerSkin conference on January 2019, in Munich. The presentation was awarded the best presentation prize.

His research proposed a simulation-based framework that explores the optimum window states for dynamic facades such as a complex fenestration system (e.g. venetian blinds) or a switchable window (e.g. EC).

The PowerSkin Conference aims to address topics such as future building envelope, energy generation and storage, and environment by introducing “Digital Processes in Façade Design and Construction”.
