Vortrag auf dem 16. Weltkongress für Computational Mechanics

Vom 21. bis 26. Juli 2024 fand in Vancouver, Kanada, der 16. Weltkongress und 4. Panamerikanische Kongress für Computational Mechanics (WCCM-PANACM) statt. Das Fachgebiet Massivbau und Baukonstruktion der RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, Arbeitsgruppe Prof. Dr.-Ing. Matthias Pahn, wurde durch Dr. Christoph de Sousa mit einem Beitrag mit dem Titel „Möglichkeiten zur Validierung numerischer Modelle anhand von Messdaten aus der Computertomografie“, engl. „Possibilities for numerical model validation through computed tomography measured data“, vertreten, der im Rahmen einer laufenden Forschungskooperation mit der TU Dresden erarbeitet wurde. Der Vortrag war Teil des Minisymposiums „Erweiterte Simulationsverfahren für die Bemessung von Carbonbeton“, engl. „Advanced simulation techniques for the structural design of carbon reinforced concrete“.

Presentation at the 16th World Congress on Computational Mechanics

From July 21 to 26, 2024, the 16th World Congress on Computational Mechanics and 4th Pan American Congress on Computational Mechanics (WCCM-PANACM) took place in Vancouver, Canada. The Department of Concrete Structures and Structural Design of the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau, research group led by Prof. Matthias Pahn, was represented by Dr. Christoph de Sousa with a presentation entitled "Possibilities for numerical model validation through computed tomography measured data", prepared in the scope of an ongoing research collaboration with TU Dresden. The presentation was part of the minisymposium "Advanced simulation techniques for the structural design of carbon reinforced concrete".
